Editorial Team · BrandCited
The team behind every word on brandcited.ai. We run the platform, test methodology changes against real scan data, and publish what we learn so you can apply it.
The BrandCited editorial team is a small group of engineers, researchers, and writers building the platform you're reading about right now. We don't write speculative think-pieces about AI search — we ship the scans, calibrate the engines, and write up what the data shows.
Every guide on this site is grounded in three things:
1. First-hand product experience. We dogfood BrandCited daily. When the methodology shifts, when an engine changes how it cites, when a new bot lands in robots.txt — we see it in our own scan logs first.
2. Cross-engine measurement. We monitor how 9 AI engines cite brands across 91 audit checks. Our content is calibrated against that signal — not against a Google ranking proxy.
3. Transparent methodology. Every claim we make is either traceable to a public source (Google Search Central, Anthropic docs, OpenAI bot specs, schema.org reference) or labelled clearly as our own observation.
We stay anonymous as a team until BrandCited reaches significant revenue. That decision is deliberate: it keeps the focus on the work, not on a personal brand. When that changes, you'll see real bylines and individual Wikidata Q-IDs on every post. Until then, "BrandCited Editorial Team" is the canonical author.
